Delicious, farm-reared Scottish beef and lamb are now available directly from Bargany as meat boxes or direct sales.
In 2021, we started a Hereford cattle herd on the estate — bringing the breed back to Bargany for the first time in 30+ years. Robert heads up our beef enterprise, and his expertise ensures healthy, happy and well cared-for cattle — conditions that result in delicious meat of the utmost quality.
Our lamb flock has been grazing the hill land of Bargany for generations, looked after by our shepherd Francis for 15 years. Llywn Cross sheep are perfectly suited for the climate of south west Scotland — producing delicious lamb to truly savour.

Chef-Quality Meat Boxes
The best of Bargany farms — great tasting, chef-quality meat boxes of home-reared, grass-fed beef and lamb — are now available to buy directly.
Each box contains sustainable and home grown meat, audited and vetted to the highest standards each year by Quality Meat Scotland, from animals that happily graze outdoors in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside for the vast majority of the year. It's a great opportunity to get the freshest produce directly from our farm, with no extra processing, unnecessary packaging or transit required.
